“When you look at me, do you see her?” she asked. “Or do you see me?”
“Don’t do this, ma chérie.”
“I have to,” she whispered. “I have to know.”

I suspect my imagination is usually worse than the reality. In my experience, most men look at a yummy apple crisp dessert, topped with vanilla ice cream and gooey caramel sauce with the same passion as they would a hot blond. It’s hard to feel jealous of apples!
I have to know too!! Great six! Want more!

But great 6, I feel her anguish.
Takes guts to ask a question like that, hope she can handle the answer! Excellent excerpt as always!
Wow…. great six, Sharon. I definitely want to know!
Very nicely done. The desparation in her voice was tangible.
I nominated you for the Liebster blog award!! Go to my homepage and it’ll tell you how to get it!
I’m guessing yes, it does matter. Interesting snippet!
Only a guy would have to ask if it matters. :-} Great characterization, Sharon!
